Implementation of Survey on KIH

A company applying for certification as the KIH Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) must complete the Survey on KIH. The Survey on KIH is used as basic information for certification screening, as well as to analyze the status of corporate KIH initiatives and how they have changed over time.

Number of responses from large enterprise applicants for the “2023 Certified KIH Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program” = 3,169

Evaluation methods in the Survey on KIH

Evaluation in this survey is based on the evaluation criteria established by a standards review committee consisting of industrial doctors, insurers, investors, etc. Questions in the survey are classified into four aspects (frameworks): “management principles and policies”, “organizational structure”, “implementation of systems and measures,” and “evaluation and improvement,” and the total score for each aspect is converted into a deviation value, which is used as the evaluation value for that aspect. The evaluation values for the aspects are then all multiplied by different weightings (according to their importance), and added together to form the overall evaluation.
